Cookie Policy
The small files this website stores in your browser — and the ones it deliberately doesn’t.
Last updated
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser to remember something between visits.
What this site stores
The public pages set one cookie: CookieConsent, which remembers the choice you make in the cookie banner for twelve months. It holds that choice and nothing about you — no identifier, no analytics, no advertising. The content management system at /studio sets a session cookie for signed-in editors only; it is strictly necessary for that sign-in, expires when the session ends, and is never used to follow anyone around the web.
Why so little?
Tracking visitors would tell us very little that a conversation does not, and it would cost every visitor a consent banner and a slower page. Keeping the site free of it is a deliberate choice: it is faster, it respects the people reading it, and it keeps the legal position simple for everyone involved.
What it doesn’t store
There is no advertising, analytics or social-media tracking on this site today, so every optional category in the banner is currently empty. The banner is there so that if a tool that needs consent is ever introduced, the site asks first and honours the answer — nothing optional is set until you have said yes, and you can change your mind at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
Third parties
Images come from Sanity’s content delivery network and the display typeface from Adobe Fonts; neither stores anything on your device. The cookie banner is provided by Cookiebot (Usercentrics), which sets the CookieConsent cookie described above and keeps a record of the choice as the law requires. No other third-party services load on the public pages.
Managing what is stored
You can delete stored files or block sites from creating them through your settings at any time; every major browser documents how in its help pages. Blocking the editor session cookie only affects signing in to the content management system, and has no effect on reading the site.
